If you're looking for a good scare, you'd needn't look very far on the internet.

I don't scare too easily. It's difficult living in world where we're all so desensitized as it is. But I got chills putting this together. Shoutout to Thought Catalog and r/TwoSentenceHorror for some of the best written horror stories.

And I know what you're thinking. Aren't these cheesy? Horror stories are never scary. And I typically agree with those sentiments. But there are some strong pieces of writing in this gallery. From terrifying parents, to creepy children, and everything in between.

Fair warning, if you're reading these before bed you might want to watch a come-down show. Something to lighten the mood before drifting off to sleep. Personally I prefer dumb comedies to break away from the horror (i.e. 'Workaholics, 'Always Sunny', 'The Office.)
